  Aluminum baseboard protects walls from impact and creates a clean and smooth transition from wall to floor. Protek aluminum baseboard consists of a plywood backer that mounts directly to the wall with a aluminum cover that mounts to the plywood with adhesive or mechanical fasteners.  Outside corners are also available for wrapping corners, which allows the baseboard to be installed in a continuous fashion. Aluminum baseboards are supplied in standard lengths and cut to fit in the field by installers, which means no prior field measuring is required.
